Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about 3doxies and Solana token creation.
General
What is 3doxies?+
3doxies is a web-based tool that lets you create and manage SPL tokens on the Solana blockchain without writing any code. You configure your token, connect your wallet, and deploy — all from your browser.
Do I need coding experience?+
No. 3doxies provides a step-by-step wizard that handles all the technical details. You just fill in your token details and click deploy.
Which wallets are supported?+
We support Phantom and Solflare wallets. Both are available as browser extensions and mobile apps.
Is my wallet safe?+
Yes. All transactions are built in your browser and signed by your wallet. Your private keys never leave your device and are never sent to our servers.
Token Creation
How much does it cost to create a token?+
Token creation costs a service fee (shown on the pricing page) plus Solana network rent (~0.01 SOL). You can test for free on Devnet.
Can I test before using real SOL?+
Absolutely! Select "Devnet" as the network in the token generator. You can get free Devnet SOL from the Solana faucet to test the full token creation flow.
What is the difference between SPL Token and Token-2022?+
SPL Token is the standard Solana token program. Token-2022 (Token Extensions) adds advanced features like transfer tax and non-transferable tokens. 3doxies automatically uses Token-2022 when you enable these features.
Can I create a token with a transfer tax?+
Yes. Enable "Transfer Tax" in the token generator and set your desired percentage. This uses the Token-2022 program and applies the fee automatically on every transfer.
What are decimals?+
Decimals define the smallest fractional unit of your token. For example, 9 decimals (like SOL) means 1 token = 1,000,000,000 smallest units. Use 0 for whole-number tokens (like NFTs).
Can I change my token after creation?+
You can update metadata (name, symbol, image) if you retain update authority. You can mint more tokens if you kept mint authority. Some properties (decimals, program type) are permanent.
Dashboard & Management
What can I do from the Dashboard?+
The Dashboard provides 9 tools: Multisender (batch airdrop), Transfer Authority, Revoke Authority, Update Metadata, Mint Tokens, Burn Tokens, Freeze/Unfreeze Accounts, Tax Settings, and Withdraw Fees.
Can I airdrop tokens to many wallets at once?+
Yes. The Multisender tool lets you send tokens to multiple wallets in a single transaction. Just paste the addresses and amounts.
What does "Revoke Authority" mean?+
Revoking an authority (mint, freeze, or metadata) permanently removes that power. For example, revoking mint authority means no one can ever mint more tokens — the supply is permanently fixed.
Technical
Which Solana networks are supported?+
Mainnet-Beta (production), Testnet, and Devnet (free testing). You can switch networks in the token generator.
Where is my token metadata stored?+
Token metadata (name, symbol, image) is uploaded to our storage and linked to on-chain Metaplex metadata. The metadata URL is permanent and publicly accessible.
Are transactions reversible?+
No. Solana transactions are final once confirmed. This includes token creation, minting, burning, and authority changes. Always review carefully before signing.
What is Metaplex metadata?+
Metaplex is the standard for on-chain token metadata on Solana. It stores your token's name, symbol, and a URI pointing to a JSON file with additional details and your logo image.
