Blue Buffalo Health Bars Review

Two out of three Dachshunds prefer Blue Buffalo Health Bars.
Our dogs love Blue Buffalo dog food and there is no exception to their Health Bar line of dog treats. When we were out of some treats, they decided that they wanted to try out the bars. So I was feeling a little generous and popped into our local PetCo and picked up a bag.
The one pound bag was on sale for $10, but it turns out you can buy one here for a lot less (around $8/bag) especially when you don’t have to pay for shipping. But sometimes I like to get a bag and let our dogs try them out before buying in bulk to get a discount.
The health bars are 2 inches square making it a good size for large to medium sized dogs. For small dogs like Dachshunds, you want to break the biscuits in half for a more appropriate portion. I break the health bars into thirds giving one to each of my dogs.
The dog biscuits are made out of natural ingredients like oatmeal, barley, ground oats, chicken meal, chicken liver, etc. No meat by products, but simply healthy and delicious.

Cons
- The cost per bag is too high
I’m sure that your dog would like the health bar, but only two of our three dogs like them. Chloe will eat them but she’s a little picky about her food so it may take another bag or flavor for her to really enjoy them. I know my dogs love Beggin Strips, but it worth the price to keep them healthy as possible.
